WARRANTY INFO

STANDARD WARRANTY

Jack’s Watch Repair will warrant repairs for a period of 1 year from defects in parts and workmanship as outlined under our ITEM WARRANTY COVERAGE below.  We are not responsible for damages due to accidental breakage, misuse, negligence, water, other liquids, worn parts and any other latent problems.  This warranty is void if any party other than Jack’s Watch Repair opens or works on the watch.  Jack’s Watch Repair will make the final determination for all warranty repairs. Incidental repairs and services are performed as a courtesy and are not covered by our standard warranty. When necessary, we may use other contractors to assist in or complete a job.  Any work performed by another party on our behalf will be covered under our standard warranty.
The customer is responsible for all billable warranty repairs and shipping charges including insurance before the watch is returned.  Our warranty return shipping rate is $20.00  which includes USPS Priority Mail and insurance up to $200.00.  If a watch is returned for warranty service within 30 days of receipt, there is no return shipping charge.

Any warranty repair bill that is not paid within 30 days will result in the cancellation of the 1 Year Warranty.  No exceptions.

ITEM WARRANTY COVERAGES

CRYSTALS & GLASS 

Covered is the installation and any affect on the hands but not from a watch that has been dropped or jarred which caused the hands to dismount, become loose or misaligned.  Not covered is breakage, chips, scratches, dents or problems caused from defects in the watch case.  Sapphire crystals are scratch resistant, not unbreakable.

BANDS, STRAPS, BRACELETS & ASSOCIATED PARTS

Covered is the installation.  Not covered for any other reason.  Some bands may come with a manufacture’s warranty.

BATTERIES, CAPACITORS & OTHER POWER STORAGE

Covered is the installation and the battery, capacitor or other power storage component that we replaced.   Not covered are problems that cause the power storage component to prematurely wear.  For example, worn parts, mechanical malfunction, electrical short or faulty charging circuit.   We do not predict the life of power storage components and we can only offer life averages given to us by our suppliers and customers.

CROWNS, PUSH BUTTONS, CASE TUBES, BEZELS & OTHER CASE PARTS

Covered is the installation.  Not covered for any other reason.

DIALS, DIAL MARKERS & DIAL FEET

Covered is the installation and any affect on the hands but not from a watch that has been dropped or jarred which caused the hands to dismount, become loose or misaligned. Covered is the finish or plating of dials that have been replaced, refinished or refurbished Not covered for any other reason.

GASKETS & SEALS

Covered is the installation.  Not covered for any other reason.

HANDS 

Covered is the installation.  Not covered is a watch that has been dropped or jarred which caused the hands to dismount, become loose or misaligned.

MOVEMENT- NEW

Covered is the installation and entire movement excluding the stem, crown and push buttons.  Not covered for damages caused by water, other liquids, misuse or accidental breakage.

MOVEMENT- OVERHAULED / CLEAN-OIL-ADJUST

Covered is the installation and entire movement excluding the stem, crown and push buttons.  Not covered for damages caused by water, other liquids, misuse or accidental breakage.

MOVEMENT- LIGHT CLEANED OR REPAIRED WITHOUT OVERHAUL/CLEAN-OIL-ADJUST 

For customer’s that do not want the expense of a new movement or overhaul but would like a best effort to get the watch running.  Not covered for any reason.

WATER DAMAGE

Not covered for any reason.

PROGRAMMING & SETTINGS

Not covered for any reason.

WATCH PARTS PROVIDED

Not covered for any reason.

REPLICA WATCH REPAIRS
